Train Ticket Availability
Some other independent websites take your payment before checking ticket availability. We do not do this and check availability first, as tickets can sell out quite a long time in advance on popular routes at busy times of the year. Train times can also change so we double check these to before requesting your payment.
Train Ticket Purchasing
In Ukraine train tickets generally only go on sale 45 days in advance from the date(s) of travel and it is at that time that Ukraine Railways will confirm train departure / arrival times and prices. Some popular routes vary eg 60 days. The train number, departure time etc will be printed on the
tickets.
Train E-Tickets Procedure
Once we have purchased your Ukraine train e-tickets we will e-mail them to you.
On your arrival at your departing railway station please proceed to a ticket sales desk and with your passport produce the e-ticket document and they will exchange it for your hard copy train tickets. We suggest arriving an hour prior to departure.
Intercity Trains
With most High Speed Intercity Trains you do not have to exchange e-tickets for hard copy tickets. Ukraine Railways will issue them as Boarding Tickets, so all you have to do is show them to the conductor of the train when you arrive on the train departing platform. Your passports will also need to be shown.
